Silent Night, Holy Night

Stille Nacht" Chapel in Oberndorf

The most beautiful of all Christmas Carols

” Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht”

This is the original version, as written and performed at Christmas Mass in Oberndorf, Salzburg in 1818.

Happy Christmas

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

I thank you too Michaela for all these beautiful Christmas postings. I have always been touched the most by the music, especially the hymnals both aspirational and glorifying.

Okay….I confess……..I also really enjoy O Tannenbaum, Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls, etc.

Which suggests that I should apologize for what might be perceived as a dour outlook on the whole scene. It is not actually the way I ‘feel’.

May peace and joy and love permeate your Christmas day is what I wish for all of you,

    My love you my friends,

    Fatima

Very nice. Thank you. I love to see the faces of children singing in choir too. Such pure focus.
