Twins share a special connection beyond that of ordinary siblings. While (we) twin bond is a special aspect of our unique relationship, sometimes it is endowed with extraordinary supernatural qualities. Sometimes, one twin experiences a physical sensation of something that is happening to their twin (such as pains or feeling depressed or even something more serious.) Other times they will find that they perform similar actions when they’re apart, such as buying the same item, ordering the same meal in a restaurant, or picking up the phone to make a call at the exact same moment. They may appear to know the other’s thoughts, by speaking simultaneously or finishing each other’s sentences. Commonly, twins(we) seem to share an inherent understanding of our co-twin’s emotional state. We have a sensation of “something being wrong” when a twin is in crisis. When my twin brother was admitted to the hospital… I knew. When I was in hospital for surgery…. he knew and was there when I woke up. Having a twin is truly indescribable and wonderful. He’s your best friend unconditionally!

Would you say that you and your brother have a Soul to Soul Connection, than can be experienced even here on the level of form, the relative realm?
It’s not as though we always think or do exactly the same things all the time, it’s as though there is never any ego or competitive nature involved with us, you just feel very serene in the presence of each other. You always feel at peace…just knowing you always have a friend. Your not absolute or independent. Your basically one.
Thanks for sharing, Marita. I have heard of these things–and especially the peace that twins feel with each other. It seems understandable from a physical perspective, having shared the womb for nine months… but it’s also quite amazing how that carries over through the years!
