The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness with Being. It is a state of connectedness with something immeasurable and indestructible, something that, almost paradoxically, is essentially you and yet is much greater than you. It is finding your true nature beyond name and form.

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

Sometimes when people I know are virtually fixated on their challenges and what to them are problems I’ll ask them to EnLighten Up about those. To take another look is what I mean.

To become enlightened about something is to become aware of it. This type of enlightenment is usually about things relating to form and appearance. More are beginning to use and think of the word EnLightenment in the context of looking past form and appearance. To become Aware of the Light which is the foundation of All that Is. This Light is the coalescing energy of Source.

So what is it that seems to prevent us from being EnLightened? To be able to see past the illusionary nature of form and appearance. I’m pretty sure most on this site know the answer.

We know the answer, but sometimes have a hard time remembering it … 😉
