About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

Is it possible to combine your obtaining a livelihood and your love of art, e.g. work in an art gallery or art shop, or coach students in art, or run art groups for children and/or adults… If none of these – and I’m sure you have considered these possible options – Well, I guess you have to eat & pay the rent, even if that does leave you with less time for painting, for now!

This is not a question of either, or….is it. It is a question of knowing what your calling in life is and have faith that life will provide what you need, when you need it.

I think this is a central question for all of us being on a quest for our true purpose. If painting is what you have to do, do it and make it your priority. But this does not mean that you cannot or should not do something else to support yourself, if you have to. Life is practical and it will not provide you with a gift you cannot use to survive. The question is not what, but how. It is not a matter of choice, it is a matter of having one’s priorities right and being truthful regarding one’s own talent and ambitions.

Follow your heart-trust life. The conflict only exists in your mind.
