The longing of a soul

Listen to one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.

Gustav Mahler, Adagietto from the 5th symphony
Daniel Barenboim conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

I agree wholeheartedly this is some of the most beautiful music ever. I cried the first time I heard it. And often still, it has the same effect on me. I find it to convey an almost palpable yearning.
