They don’t know what words are…

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

  1. The power of words both powerfully good and destructive.

Why is it that we are so willing to just speak without thinking?
Why do most people find silence alone or with others so unsettling?
Is that one of the blessings of contemplating ‘the space between the words’?
Why does Byron Katie provide a way out of the impact of words believed and their impact on our emotions?

Sometimes I think human beings, of which I am one, are very much like ‘sheep without a shepherd’ and blindly follow anything to find something! Only to find the effect doesn’t last so on to the next thing.

Taking time to slow down and appreciate the greatness of the beauty of words, songs and poetry and allowing some silence to digest them is like a healing balm.
