Tristeza

I am obsessed with the myth of Orpheus….

This is part of the Brazilian movie ” ORFEU NERGRO” directed by Marcel Camus.
The sound track is by Antonio Carlos Jobim.

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

I haven’t watched this movie yet but Im also reading a lot about Orpheus…
I leave you with a musical suggestion: its an album called HADESTOWN from Anaïs Mitchell.
It’s absolutely beautiful and haunting!! Because it’s a folk-opera, the story is told through music and each singer represents a character. It tells the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, which makes perfect sense since Orpheus was such a wonderful musician, he enchanted rivers and trees.
    Im sure you’ll love it.
    Enjoy :)*
