Vivian Maier was a street photographer whose work of over 100,000 prints was recently discovered. She was a extremely private person, whose past time was to walk the streets of New York and Chicago and take pictures of daily life with her Rolleiflex. The story of the discovery of the prints is as unusual as her life story – and her pictures, that have an incredible acute and intense quality to it. Her sense for detail and composition is stunning, each of these pictures tell a story and Vivian made sure to portray them very accurately.
