He is my brother

Osama Bin Laden is dead.

Titian: Cain and Abel -1542 (Santa Maria della Salute, Venice)

The leader of a terrorist group, Al Qaeda,  was once supported by the U.S and armed by the same to fight against the Soviets. The wealthy son of a Saudi construction company owner who followed and implemented the plans set out by the CIA, was supported by Pakistan, US and Britain. The US policy then was to drum up support for Muslim radicals to destabilize the Soviet Union. Bin Laden fought against  the Soviet Union and helped to bring the communist regime to it’s knees.  Until Russia withdrew from Afghanistan, he largely financed and organised Mujahideen  training camps, while the weaponry and military trainers  came from the US,

In fact the block buster movie Rambo 111, was set in Afghanistan, featuring the mujahideen supported by the US.  Prior to the American war in Afghanistan, the ending quote of the movie read “This film is dedicated to the brave Mujahideen fighters of Afghanistan”. This was then edited to read “people of Afghanistan”.

Hypocrisy? Osama bin Laden is dead, he was shot through the head, the papers were fed, the people now, they are led ? We witness shows of joy from people celebrating at Ground Zero and gleeful comments about the death of the man, who once was Americas friend, until he turned against them.

But why did he fall out?

Every question has to be on the table

Dark energy, dark matter

Note: The story of Obama bin Laden and the world’s obsession with protecting their interest and imagined security, is a perfect example of how thought (energy)  creates reality (matter).  So let us take heart and see what is true and then go about changing the thinking.  This is how we create our world. A recent news analysis on the occasion of the death of Osama bin Laden from today’s New York Times (which, by the way is turning to a rather noteworthy truth caster), is an opportunity of helping us seeing what is true.  What appears is on the outside is merely a projection of the inside.

Killing Adds to Debate About U.S. Strategy and Timetable in AfghanistanBy MARK LANDLER, THOM SHANKER and ALISSA J. RUBIN
Published: May 2, 2011

WASHINGTON — The killing of Osama bin Laden deep in Pakistan is sure to fuel the debate over the Obama administration’s strategy in Afghanistan, where 100,000 troops are still fighting a war to destroyAl Qaeda. And the raid, conducted without the cooperation or even advance knowledge of Pakistan, raised fresh doubts about the lengthy American effort to turn it into a trustworthy partner in the hunt for terrorists.

As President Obama approaches a critical period in deciding how many troops to pull out of Afghanistan — and how fast — the deadly raid on Al Qaeda’s leader called into question many of the administration’s basic assumptions about how to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a safe haven for Islamic terrorists.

The witch is dead

Finally, Osama bin Laden went off the stage.

He has been the face of evil, threat and terror. That what caused death, destruction, instability, harm, terror and war.

I lived in the US when the towers fell, and by chance I was not where I was supposed to be – at a meeting at the Mercer Hotel in Manhattan, a short distance from Ground Zero. As a matter of fact, when the second tower fell,  I was on the phone with my co-worker and friend, who went there in my place and got trapped on the island for a few days.

And I was there to witness a country going from a state of over-confidence to shock, grief, anger and – reaction. I remember the speeches of George W Bush and the call to consume as a civic duty. And I witnessed everyone going shopping after Thanksgiving day – and beyond. I recall the events being set in motion – Afghanistan and the Iraq war, as well as the stalling economy and the frenzy to get it going again.

A Moment

A MOMENT FILLED THE UNFULFILLED
by Justme

A moment filled, the unfulfilled
As blood boiled hot, and skin tingles, thrilled
Longing led, to a swallowing deep kiss
A moment Destiny, would never miss

The earth and moon and stars
Called halt to movement,
As the world stopped spinning
For a tiny moment.
The rivers held, as in photography
The rain it stopped, drained out the sea
A perfect moment of sweet innocence
Spun from Gods mastered
brilliance

As this loving moment came
So too, it shall pass
For Perfect came and went, so fast
Held forever as a glorious memory
Floating the ether, wild and free
First heaven from hell
Love blossomed
then love
Fell

Silliness and Sleight of Hand

By Charles M. Blow

President Obama buckled.

On Wednesday, he released his long-form birth certificate, but not without chiding the media and his detractors for their “silliness” in forcing the issue.

No sooner had he released it than Donald Quixote was off to his next windmill: the president’s college grades.

Donald Trump is still playing to suspicions of President Obama. And it’s no longer theoretical. It’s theological. For the detractors, truth is no longer dependent on proof because it’s rooted in faith: faith that American exceptionalism was never truly meant to cover hyphenated Americans; faith in 400 years of cemented assumptions about the character and capacity of the American Negro; and faith that if the president doesn’t hew to those assumptions then he must be alien by both birth and faith.

This is how the moneyed interests — of whom Trump is one — want it. That is how sleight of hand works: distract and deceive. They need this distraction now more than ever because the right’s flimsy fiscal argument — that if we allow fat cats to gorge, crumbs will surely fall — is losing traction.

Old World or New Earth ?

Look closer….behind this very green ad is Lockheed Martin,  one of the biggest aerospace, defense and technology companies, makers of fighter jets, missiles, launch rockets, weapon systems, electronics ….Well, at least it’s good to know that they are thinking ecological.

Seeing what is not true

There is a certain stage in this process, when you find yourself acutely aware of the Truth about yourself and everything around you, and you are stunned by the sheer magnitude of illusion you have been following all your life.

Even tough it seems to be the preeminent belief, awakening is not about feeling peaceful or being in a state of bliss all the time. Awakening is about seeing Truth and starting to live by it. There is a saying attributed to the Buddha: ” there are only two kind of mistakes you can make on the journey  to Truth – not starting – and not going all the way.

What he is pointing to are the many pitfalls of spiritual bypassing. And who can blame anyone – there is so little known about the transformation that sets in, once we have had a glimpse of Truth, or a real experience that makes us see the true nature of things.

It is not that spiritual bypassing can delay or prevent what is bound to happen anyway. From an energetic standpoint, the whole process of transformation involves a tuning up of all bodily systems to vibrate at a higher frequency ( if you want to look at it from an energetic standpoint, which I find the most easiest to relate to, explaining the many physical, mental, emotional changes that take place on all levels of our being,)
