That which does not struggle…

There are many (perceived) changes in the process of getting used to living one’s life comfortably dangling suspended upside down. This is a little metaphor that is inspired by the twelfth card of the Tarot – The Hanged Man.

The Hanged Man is the symbol of being surrendered to what is happening and just let go. Look at his face – despite dangling upside down from a branch, he is actually looking quite serene and peaceful. This is what it feels to finally have let go of the struggling.

But how do you let go of “struggling” ? I does sound so easy, so completely reasonable, so – desirable. And here you have the one thing to be conscious of. You cannot just “want” to let go of struggling. The moment you try – you are putting up the resistance again and contracting even tighter.

Today i had an exam, and my mind was in it’s playmood all day yesterday (worried about the exam). When going to sleep this came to me:

– When do you feel it?
– Now.
– So then what do you feel? The future? What are you, a time traveler?

And i laughed.

Expanding friendship

Money and realestate occupy the body,

A trick about emotions

Most of the people think that their emotions are reflecting the reality. On some point it’s true, but they’re still mistaken. Our emotions are mirrors of our inner state. So they’re reflecting our inner reality, not the outer. And our inner state also has nothing to do with the outer world, it’s just thoughts and emotions.

But, when you seperate the emotions and reality, and become free of the mind, then that love has to do everything with the outer world.

Are the thoughts and emotions controlling you, or you’re controlling them?
