As a democratic revolution led by tech-empowered young people sweeps the Arab world, Wadah Khanfar, the head of Al Jazeera, shares a profoundly optimistic view of what’s happening in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and beyond — at this powerful moment when people realized they could step out of their houses and ask for change.

About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

A great man, a great talk on a great development ! Just imagine: some day an Egyptian friend of my son was asked by his cousin in Cairo during a phone call whether anyone outside Egpyt was informed what’s going on there on Tahrir Square, what they were fighting for ! “The whole world is watching you, you are not alone” he answered. The young man in Cairo broke out in tears.
