Very interesting. Sounds true enough too. More knowledge, and nothing wrong with that. The conscious mind. Isn’t that a natural result of spiritual teachings for everyman? The truly balanced human being?
2 points, or I suppose for some (maybe him) they could be questions, come to mind :
1) That there is a difference between a conscious mind that he is describing and the egoic mind which most people, even the nice ones, inhabit.
2) Consciousness itself and the conscious mind are not the same at all.
p.s. and then there is the path of the mystic. not for everyman, I think.
Consciousness, like love, is a word with many meanings…
Yes, in general that is true about a lot of words. Particularly with these words, consciousness and love. Picture a tree…..where word is the same for the root and the branches. They are definately related but not at all the same.
I think that is a major confusion in my thinking….mixing branches with roots. figures ….thinking is itself a function of the branch…..of a different tree. Get my meaning? : )
