About

Welcome to the Living Room.

A sofa, a window seat and reflections.

How do we live Truth ?

This is a place to discourse, debate, share, converse, reflect, observe and listen.

Come in, sit with us on the sofa and talk about Life. Look out of the window and reflect on experiences discovering Truth in yourself. Check yourself in the mirror and discover who you are. Enjoy the music, movies, books, art and poetry.  Or find out what is cooking in the kitchen, everyone’s favourite place.

Just be yourself !

Your host is Michaela :

” I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are.  I love our journey and to walk in company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all simply love this beautiful, wonderful, marvelous life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.”

Michaela in a recent snapshot with my niece Paula

A poem-prayer by Rumi

Come, Come, Whoever You Are

Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn’t matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow

a thousand times
Come, yet again, come, come.

Note: I have been asked many times now if I am available for individual counseling or speaking engagements. Even tough I am not using this site to advertise my services, this can be arranged in some cases.  I am a licensed physician and acupuncturist in practice, following the principles of holistic medicine. I am specialized on stress-medicine and I am an author, speaker and teacher. Just email me and we take it from there.

I had a “ah ha” moment this morning, watching the news regarding the Chilean miners, here they were trapped for 69 days which could of gone so wrong , never being able to escape their entrapment beneath the earth, buried in a mine. Yet these men held on too their faith and never gave up hope! It just shows you what a good attitude and lots of positive ways of thinking can do. I found it very humbling.

A very nice space. I love the concept and its “virtual” layout. A wonderful place for being.

Such a soul-space. Thank you for creating it. I wonder in which country would the Living Room be situated – aah, I know it is in the heart, but, on which reality does one look outside the window?

    • Michaela says:

Hello – nice to *meet* you…Oh, that window is looking out on E 66th Street in NYC – but the Living Room has moved to Europe. And you ?

      • engemi says:

I have only one room, a studio, with huge sliding doors opening on a balcony overlooking the Southernmost sea of Africa. It is a Living Room with a view; where I write.

      • Michaela says:

        Welcome !!

That sounds absolutely lovely…must be the Cape. How inspiring to live where two oceans meet.

  7. engemi says:

Yes indeed. I still wanted to say earlier on, how intriguing I find the way in which your eyes dart to one side, and your niece Paula’s to the other side; lovely photo. I have been reading up a bit in the various ‘seating arrangements’: I enjoyed the conversations greatly. Very stimulating. Regards

  8. Detlef says:

The view from the window looks great. To see nature kept me going for a long time and my true temple to meditate is in nature. It seems like “God” is so easy to see there.

  9. Lode says:

Thank you for posting that audio of Adya speaking about Jesus Christ Consciousness.

I saw your interview with Richard. Fun to watch-hear.

    Much Love,
    Lode

  10. What a lovely cyber-sanctuary for spiritual exchange you have created!

  11. Paul says:

    This is so cool man!
But my hippy brain and expanding head.
I feel has no place in your room.
I wish thee well with love and truth for all you are and the way you feel.
    Regards Paul.
